ClipTrove — Privacy Policy

ClipTrove ("the app") is a local video gallery and organizer for Android. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: ClipTrove does not operate a server and its developer does not receive your videos, library data, or FTP credentials. Google may process data to serve and measure AdMob ads, as described below.

1. Information the app handles

• Your local media & library data (local videos, thumbnails, tags, albums, likes, auto-tag rules) — read from and stored only on your device. FTP videos remain on the server you configure and stream directly to your device. This data is never uploaded to us; we have no server.
• FTP connection details (host, port, username, and password) — if you use the optional FTP feature, these are stored locally on your device and sent directly to the server you specify. The password is encrypted at rest when Android Keystore is available. Standard FTP does not encrypt credentials or file and directory names in transit, so use only a server and network you trust. ClipTrove's developer does not receive or have access to these details.

2. Permissions

• Photos/Videos (media) access — to show and organize the videos on your device.
• Internet — for FTP streaming to the server you configure and for Google AdMob ads.
• Advertising ID — Google AdMob may use the device advertising identifier to deliver, measure, and protect ads, subject to device settings and applicable consent.
• Notifications — to show progress of long tasks such as duplicate scanning.

3. Third-party services

The Play release includes Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google may automatically collect and share the device's IP address (used to estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. UMP is used to request consent where required. ClipTrove does not include a separate analytics SDK, and its developer does not receive your video library or FTP credentials through AdMob. 4. Data storage & deletion

All ClipTrove data stored by the app is kept locally on your device. Turning FTP streaming off keeps its saved connection details so you can enable it again without re-entering them. To permanently remove those details, clear ClipTrove's app data in Android system settings or uninstall the app; either action removes all locally stored app data, not only the FTP settings. Your external FTP account and files remain under your control on that server.

5. Children

ClipTrove is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.

ClipTrove("본 앱")는 안드로이드용 로컬 동영상 갤러리·정리 앱입니다. 본 방침은 앱이 다루는 데이터를 설명합니다. 요약하면: ClipTrove는 자체 서버를 운영하지 않으며, 개발자가 사용자의 동영상·라이브러리 데이터·FTP 접속 정보를 전달받지 않습니다. 아래 설명과 같이 Google은 AdMob 광고 제공과 측정을 위해 데이터를 처리할 수 있습니다.

1. 앱이 다루는 정보

• 로컬 미디어 및 라이브러리 데이터(기기 동영상, 썸네일, 태그, 앨범, 좋아요, 자동 태깅 규칙) — 기기 안에서만 읽고 저장됩니다. FTP 영상은 사용자가 설정한 서버에 그대로 있고 기기로 직접 스트리밍됩니다. 이 데이터는 당사로 업로드되지 않으며, 당사는 서버가 없습니다.
• FTP 접속 정보(호스트, 포트, 사용자 이름, 비밀번호) — 선택 기능인 FTP를 사용할 경우 이 정보는 기기에 로컬 저장되고 사용자가 지정한 서버로 직접 전송됩니다. Android Keystore를 사용할 수 있을 때 비밀번호는 기기에 암호화해 저장합니다. 일반 FTP는 전송 중 자격증명과 파일·폴더 이름을 암호화하지 않으므로 신뢰할 수 있는 서버와 네트워크에서만 사용하세요. ClipTrove 개발자는 이 정보에 접근하거나 전달받지 않습니다.

2. 권한

• 사진/동영상(미디어) 접근 — 기기의 동영상을 보여주고 정리하기 위함.
• 인터넷 — 사용자가 설정한 서버로 FTP 스트리밍하고 Google AdMob 광고를 제공하기 위함.
• 광고 ID — Google AdMob은 기기 설정과 필요한 동의에 따라 광고 제공·측정·보호를 위해 기기의 광고 식별자를 사용할 수 있습니다.
• 알림 — 중복 스캔 등 오래 걸리는 작업의 진행 상태 표시.

3. 제3자 서비스

Play 배포본에는 Google AdMob과 Google 사용자 메시징 플랫폼(UMP)이 포함됩니다. Google은 광고 제공, 분석, 사기 방지를 위해 IP 주소(대략적 위치 추정에 사용), 앱 상호작용, 진단 정보, 기기 또는 계정 식별자를 자동으로 수집하고 공유할 수 있습니다. 필요한 지역에서는 UMP로 동의를 요청합니다. ClipTrove에는 별도의 분석 SDK가 없으며, AdMob을 통해 개발자가 사용자의 동영상 라이브러리나 FTP 접속 정보를 전달받지 않습니다. 자세한 내용은 Google 개인정보처리방침을 참조하세요.

4. 데이터 저장 및 삭제

ClipTrove가 로컬로 저장하는 앱 데이터는 기기에 보관됩니다. FTP 스트리밍을 꺼도 나중에 다시 켤 수 있도록 저장된 접속 정보는 유지됩니다. 해당 정보를 영구적으로 지우려면 Android 시스템 설정에서 ClipTrove의 앱 데이터를 삭제하거나 앱을 제거하세요. 두 방법 모두 FTP 설정만이 아니라 기기에 저장된 앱 데이터 전체를 삭제합니다. 외부 FTP 계정과 파일은 해당 서버에서 사용자가 직접 관리합니다.

5. 아동

ClipTrove는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동에게 개인정보 제공을 고의로 요청하지 않습니다.

6. 변경

본 방침은 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 시 위 "최종 수정일"이 갱신됩니다.
