ClipTrove — Privacy Policy

ClipTrove ("the app") is a local video gallery and organizer for Android. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: ClipTrove does not have its own server and does not collect or upload your personal data or your videos. Everything you create stays on your device.

1. Information the app handles

• Your media & library data (videos, thumbnails, tags, albums, likes, auto-tag rules) — read from and stored only on your device. Never uploaded to us; we have no server.
• FTP connection details (host, port, login) — if you use the optional FTP feature, these are stored locally on your device and used only to connect to the server you specify.
• Purchases — processed entirely by Google Play Billing. The app only receives whether a purchase is active; it does not store your payment details.

2. Permissions

• Photos/Videos (media) access — to show and organize the videos on your device.
• Internet — for FTP streaming (to your own server) and for ads.
• Notifications — to show progress of long tasks such as duplicate scanning.
• Advertising ID — used by the ad provider for ad delivery (see below).

3. Third-party services

The app uses these Google services, which handle data under their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob (advertising) — may collect device identifiers, an advertising ID, and usage signals to serve and measure ads. In regions that require it (e.g. EEA/UK), the app shows a consent form (Google UMP) before personalized ads are used.
• Google Play Billing (purchases & subscriptions) — processes payments and manages subscriptions.

The app itself does not use any analytics SDK and sends no usage data to us.

4. Data storage & deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. You can also clear the app's data from Android system settings at any time.

5. Children

ClipTrove is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.

ClipTrove("본 앱")는 안드로이드용 로컬 동영상 갤러리·정리 앱입니다. 본 방침은 앱이 다루는 데이터를 설명합니다. 요약하면: ClipTrove는 자체 서버가 없으며, 사용자의 개인정보나 동영상을 수집·업로드하지 않습니다. 사용자가 만든 모든 데이터는 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.

1. 앱이 다루는 정보

• 미디어 및 라이브러리 데이터(동영상, 썸네일, 태그, 앨범, 좋아요, 자동 태깅 규칙) — 기기 안에서만 읽고 저장됩니다. 당사로 업로드되지 않으며, 당사는 서버가 없습니다.
• FTP 접속 정보(호스트, 포트, 로그인) — 선택 기능인 FTP를 사용할 경우 이 정보는 기기에 로컬 저장되며, 사용자가 지정한 서버에 연결하는 데에만 쓰입니다.
• 결제 — Google Play 결제가 전부 처리합니다. 앱은 결제가 유효한지 여부만 받을 뿐, 결제 수단 정보를 저장하지 않습니다.

2. 권한

• 사진/동영상(미디어) 접근 — 기기의 동영상을 보여주고 정리하기 위함.
• 인터넷 — FTP 스트리밍(사용자 본인 서버) 및 광고를 위함.
• 알림 — 중복 스캔 등 오래 걸리는 작업의 진행 상태 표시.
• 광고 ID — 광고 제공자가 광고 게재에 사용(아래 참조).

3. 제3자 서비스

본 앱은 아래 Google 서비스를 사용하며, 해당 데이터는 각 서비스의 개인정보 정책에 따라 처리됩니다:

• Google AdMob(광고) — 광고 게재·측정을 위해 기기 식별자, 광고 ID, 이용 신호 등을 수집할 수 있습니다. 필요한 지역(예: EEA/영국)에서는 맞춤 광고 사용 전 동의 양식(Google UMP)을 표시합니다.
• Google Play 결제(구매·구독) — 결제 처리 및 구독 관리.

앱 자체는 어떤 분석(애널리틱스) SDK도 사용하지 않으며, 당사로 이용 데이터를 전송하지 않습니다.

4. 데이터 저장 및 삭제

모든 앱 데이터는 기기에 로컬로 저장됩니다. 앱을 삭제하면 모두 함께 삭제됩니다. 안드로이드 시스템 설정에서 언제든지 앱 데이터를 지울 수도 있습니다.

5. 아동

ClipTrove는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 데이터를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

6. 변경

본 방침은 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 시 위 "최종 수정일"이 갱신됩니다.
